Tips and Tricks On How To Market Your Presence At the Business to Business Trade Show

The Business to Business Trade Show Marketing Team does their best to market and advertise year-round.  We work with TV, radio, web, social media and printed advertising.  But we can’t do it alone.  Now that you are an exhibitor at the trade show, it’s time to start telling the world that you’ll be attending B2B 2011 and they should too!

Here are some tips and tricks to help you tell your current and potential clients where to find you at B2B.

Ideas for Exhibitors

  • Send invitations to customers and include a prize giveaways to encourage your clientele to visit you at the show. Having a big crowd isn’t a bad thing. It means you’re popular.
  • Print show reminders in monthly newsletters & publications and put it on your website’s calendar of events.
  • Include a blurb about the Trade Show and your booth placement on invoices.
  • Place the Trade Show logo and a link to from the B2B on your website.
  • Include a tag-line in regular radio and television advertising.
  • Add your booth number and show dates to regular print advertising.
  • Email us a press release announcing a new product or service you are launching at the show, and we will post it on the Trade Show website.
  • Purchase a display ad with our local advertisers including The Sun Journal, Uncle Andy’s, Twin City Times, Lewiston Auburn Magazine, MaineBiz, Gleason Media, Nassau Broadcasting, Portland Press Herald, Kennebec Journal, Chamber of Commerce flyers and others.
  • Use an email signature with show dates, booth number and link to the B2B website.
